Delete your account

This page is for the Mochi app (book summaries and language courses). For Mochi Tutor, our app for children, see its own page.

In the app

• Open the Profile tab.
• Tap Delete account, then confirm.

This deletes your account straight away, with everything saved with it. The app then starts again as a new, empty account.

By email

If you can't open the app any more, email info@fortifylearning.com with the subject "Delete my Mochi app account". Include the first name you gave Mochi and, if you subscribed, the email address on the Apple or Google account you paid with, so we can find your account. We'll delete it and reply when it's done.

What's deleted and what's kept

• Deleted: your anonymous account, the first name you gave, Mochi's outfit and backdrop, your lesson reminder, the books and courses you picked, your progress, ratings and quiz answers.
• Kept: anything we must keep for legal, tax or security reasons, such as subscription purchase records. Copies may remain in our backups until those backups are replaced.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Mochi Unlimited subscription. Cancel it in your Google Play subscriptions, or in your Apple Account settings on iPhone or iPad.
